Mandus House.

- Our Base in Blackpool -

We're very happy to announce that our Centre in Blackpool, pictured on the left, will now be known as "Mandus House". This is a name that we landed on for couple of reasons, the main one being a tribute to our founder, Mandus Nyquist, who selflessly dedicated his life to sharing spiritual knowledge with the people of the world. You can read a bit more about the new name and our project below.

The Mandus House Story

Mandus House: A Community Space Like No Other. If you were to ask me, I'd say this sums us up pretty well.  We want to make an impact in our community, to be a hub of spirituality in a world caught up in materialism. We're a place for genuine connections to be made, for friendships to be forged, and for lives to lived, in peace, harmony and conscious connection; however that may express itself.

We offer a wide variety of free to access wellbeing and people focused groups, clubs, sessions and classes. With everything from mindfulness meditations, to book clubs, and arts and crafts groups to yoga sessions. We really try to have something for everyone! Check them out by clicking here.

Anyway, getting back to why we chose the name that we did, after some careful consideration, we realised that our building is not just a centre, but really more of a house. As while centres are often associated with medical purposes, or sports etc, a house, more often than not, is a home. So just think of us as your home away from home! A space for you to come to rest, relax and recharge your batteries. We hope to see you sometime soon.
